The term has finally come to an end, with lockdown being in the school holidays and teachers preparing for distance teaching the term was 24 weeks. So to finally get to the end of term 2 was a relief for a lot of tired teachers and students. As a Mnaiakalani team, we meet online for a sharing time of our experiences and feelings. There were a lot of similarities across the clusters and facilitators. I am looking forward to our September face to face meeting to catch up with everyone in-person. This was my presentation

Kia ora Donna, My name is Yvette Parlour and I am a teacher aide based at Paparore School. The L4 lockdown certainly was a time of creative learning. Fortunately I am a part of a team that embrace, support and encourage the Manaiakalani Kaupapa. I found the google meets interesting. It is great to know that you all got some well needed support by daily contacts with your team. I certainly appreciated being able to keep in touch with our class. Loving Manaiakalani. I am looking forward to learning more from you. Thank you for being passionate about this kaupapa.
